Extra Sounds

Hello guys.

Using the Wilco A320 as the main aircraft for my simulator (FSX version of AS is soo far away, let alone the FS9 version), I'd like to add some unincluded sounds to the package.

For example, when I have the EXT power switched on, the Wilco A320 does not make any sound (the loud sound of the GPU).

I'd like to add it so that when a button is pressed, a sound is started, and does not end until it is released. I know the coding exists already in the product with the APU. Would it be easy to add in a similar thing for the EXT Power if I could find a good sound file for it?

I'd rather not use an external programme such as PMSounds, as it is only for one or two sounds, which I would like to custom add myself.

By the way, does anybody know of a good A320 GPU (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdIIwaimRCg can be heard in this, but as it's a licenced product I can't just record the sound from the video) that I could use?

Hi,

I may be mistaken but in my opinion what you hear in this video are the cockpit-internal sounds, i.e. the avionics fans and the airco blowers, NOT any sound from outside. If he had started the APU instead of connecting to ground power, I think you would have heard exactly the same sounds...

Now I need to find sounds for the avionics fans and airco blowers...
