    Leo Bodnar Bx086 Switch Card

I have 2 Leo Bodnar cards (BXU086) and am getting ready to wire my overhead and M.I.P. Obviously I have no trouble with regular on-off switches, but how do you wire up the rotary encoders to that board? What terminals am I to use?. As usual with almost everything I've purchased from overseas vendors NO instructions came with the card. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Dave

Re: Leo Bodnar Bx086 Switch Card

I hope I am wrong, but I don't see encoder support under BU0386 on Leo's site. The BU0386X does, though.

Re: Leo Bodnar Bx086 Switch Card

I have both cards with encoders, they are the same.
On the encoder, the center pin hooks to GND on the card. The outer pins hook to two switches that are next to each other( 1 & 2,3 & 4 ect.) then download the "encoders" setup from Leo's site and assign the encoders to what ever pair of swithes you hook up to. Very easy and reliable.

Re: Leo Bodnar Bu086X Switch Card

It is the X card, sorry if I mislabled it. That's why I purchased it, for switches and encoders. Dave
