    Greetings from good old Tennessee

Hey Everyone. I am a college student in Nashville Tennessee, and I've been using flight simulators for about 7 to 8 years. I'm planning on Slowly building a 737 cockpit as accurately as possible, and for as cheap as i can get it. I'm planning on doing pretty much all the work myself, and I'm going to be using this site a lot. I look forward to talking with all of you.

Re: Greetings from good old Tennessee

Glad to see someone new joining the hobby. I am also from Tennessee. While my simulator is a Cessna 172, many of the tips, tricks, pitfalls, etc. of cockpit building apply no matter what aircraft you are modeling. I've picked up ideas from people building small GA cockpits as well as the big iron. This is an exciting hobby and one where no matter how much you have completed with your cockpit, the project is never really done. There will always be another improvement you can make. Of course a lot of the fun is in the planning, designing, and building of the cockpit. Don't forget to fly it some too! Welcome and best of luck with your project.
