    Revolution 737 TQ

    gentlemen.......
following the previous discussion, i was very interested in this and was in contact with Eren and Oral about the unit. so i asked them if i could come and see the setup and product for myself before making a decision.
tuesday i was in Paris, they picked me up from CDG airport and took me to the workshop where i they let me watch them building one for a customer. they even allowed me to take pictures.
having seen the inside, the engineering is really clever and they also gave me a sneak preview of what they have in the pipeline
i've posted the links to the photo's on my news page at www.737ng.co.uk/help.htm
    for anybody who is interested.
got a full demo of the real deal working and they got an order
had a great day with two real nice guys.
if you are going to Lelystad, you have to go see this working, you will be amazed
have a great day chaps.... ian

    Hi Ian,

I've had my eye on one of these since your last post!

Just wondering if you discussed software compatibility with them i.e. PM, Flight Deck Software, Sim-Avionics etc, or will it work with FS regardless?

    Cheers,
    Ed

We will probably bring a unit too incorporated in our full setup.

    Re: Revolution 737 TQ

    good day chaps.........
re: software compatibility...... this is what was discussed. i know for sure that right now, the unit works with default and PMDG 737 software, i've actually seen it working.
Oral tells me he has been in discussion with Flightdeck Software and the next compatibility development which i believe is already under way will be for that.
my upgrade plans involve Sim Avionics and they asked me if i would contact them and 'have a word' which i will be doing this weekend
i'll advise when i have an answer from SA.
re: PM. that was mentioned in the conversation, but i'm not sure about when that would be implemented. they did tell me they it was on the cards, but i had a handfull of throttle quad on an approach into Istanbul at the time and i was more concerned with not making a fool of myself so as far as PM is concerned, perhaps you would be better sending a mail directly to Oral or Eren.
in the previous post, i was aware that a major cockpit building company was interested in the product, but they wouldn't tell me who. so my suspicions are correct it would seem.
thanks stef for letting 'the cat out of the bag'
    have agreat day men.....

    Re: Revolution 737 TQ

Thanks for sharing that Ian, it's great to hear that SA are potentially on the list of software compatibility. I haven't quite decided which direction to go, in terms of software, but it is looking more and more like SA. I was very impressed with their demo (albeit a 777 ).

Let us know when you 'have a word' with SA Ian - tell them you have people interested in their software Compatibility with the Revolution TQ would swing it for me...

Good to see you have one too Stef

Great news Ian, many thanks for speaking to SA. Hopefully something good will come of this. Looks as though I'll be parting with 200 fairly soon! Just need SA to integrate the CPFlight MIP board into their software and I'll have a clear path forward to start building my pit

    Thanks, Ian!

As soon as a PM version of the software is available, they can count me in. Looks amazing!

Thanks for reaching out to the SA team Ian!

I had contacted the Revolution guys and was ready to place on order and pick-up the TQ at the FSWeekend but at the time they could not confirm drivers for the SA suite yet.

It would be really great if the TQ as SA Suite would work together and they count an other customer in

    Cheers,

    Willem
