e37 with OC master
My apologies if this has already been discussed. In which case, I would greatly appreciate if someone could point me to that thread as I have done an exhaustive search but couldn't find anything on this topic.
Anyway my question is quite simple.. Does anyone know whether the E37 dual concentrics work with the OC master ? I was looking at the data sheet and comparing it to the cts 288 encoder although not dual concentric but the specs look alike. However rather than jumping the gun and ordering any from leo bodnars website.. I wanted to get some advice.

Re: e37 with OC master
ELMA E37 produces two pulses per notch while CTS288 generates only one. Unfortunately I have not personally used OC hardware so I cannot give exact verdict but from some forum discussions that I have come across I understood that OC only works with CTS288 style input. I have seen that someone tried to get around this using OC software (I think it is SIOC) but it was not working properly as rotation speed increased. This is all I know so far...
