Which 5v input must I connect?

Ok guys, I have the Opencockpits Mastercard connected to the USB Expansion card. Each card has a 5v power connector. Which one must I connect a 5v supply into? The Mastercard, the USB Expansion card or to BOTH at the same time?

    Thanks in advance.

You connect the 5v supply to the mastercard - this is because the mastercard needs the power to drive the outputs. If the power was provided to the usb expansion, it is doubtful whether the inter connecting ribbon cable could pass the necessary current and/or maintain the voltage.
