    Help needed with LD767 Repaint

    Hi All

I have the excellent Level D 767 and want to change the external view to a BA (British Airways) repaint. Now I am not sure where I get this, or how to perform the repaint. I have seen the repaint manager in the Level D directory but have been unsuccessful in applying anything. Having Level D of the side of the aircraft is getting tiresome.

Could some kind soul take me step by step in how I do this please?

    Many many thanks
    Richard

Go to the LevelD site and there you will find the British Airways livery. Simply download it and follow the instructions to install it.

Re: Help needed with LD767 Repaint

Many thanks Bill. Will give it a go. I think I did try this a while back but couldn't get the aircraft to change to new livery. Will try it again.

Thanks for taking time out to reply.

    Regards
    Richard

Re: Help needed with LD767 Repaint

    Hiya Bill

Well I did as you said and downloaded the BA repaint file and dumped it in the level d aircraft/download directory (which wasn't here - I had to create it) but the repaint manager doesn't see the file.

    Ooooeeerrrrr!

    Must be me!

Navigate to Microsoft Games - FS9 - Aircraft. -no further.

Open the Aircraft folder - you should see folders for all your installed aircraft etc. Find the one mamed LevelD - open it - inside it you should see among other folders an empty folder named "Downloads" Open this and Paste your unzipped British Airways repaint into this folder.
Now open the folder named Repaint Manager. You should see the British Airways Repaint listed in the box here. Select it and install.Let me know how you get on. Hope this helps.

Re: Help needed with LD767 Repaint

    Hi Bill

Well, I did what you said, but I am running FSX and the directory structure is different.

There is no aircraft directory with FSX root.

Thnx anyway for trying. Have to live with Level D plastered over it.

    Regards
    Richard

Re: Help needed with LD767 Repaint

Further to last post, I added repaint into downloads directory within the level d simulation and the repaint manager found the file, said it had completed the repaint, but on openng FSX the aircraft is still the same.

    What a surprise! Damn FSX!

    See ya
