No More Tunnel Vision When Flying For ME!

Im hyped about getting this new monitor. I got a killer deal on it, I had a problem from my 22" Monitor giving me tunnel vision when I fly. Im hoping this will atleast help correct this, I ordered a 27.5" Hanns-G monitor to replace my ACER Desktop 22" Monitor.

Anyways, I thought that this was such a good deal for a monitor that anyone flying on a smaller monitor(s) might want to jump on this. I got it for $309 the other day, now its going for $300 after rebate.

Im hoping this will make it so I dont have to squint or lean in to see the gauges. My 67 year old dad will surely appreciate this since he enjoys flight simming on my setup as well (He has over 400 hours flight time in 18 different airplanes, but hasnt flown in years)

    Very nice!

Now what you need is a Matrox Triple Head to Go (TH2GO) and two more of those monster monitors, and then you really won't have tunnel vision any more

Off the topic, what I really need is not a super-wide screen monitor, but a super-high screen so that I can read much more of a forum thread without having to continually page down. I know some monitors used to be able to be rotated by 90 degrees, but I haven't seen that advertised recently.

Your Video card might have a setting to rotate the screen. Mine does its a Nvidia.

Yes, but then there is the problem of standing the monitor on its side!

Remove the current support, usually slides out, or a few screws, and make a two supports out of MDF!

I know Samsung make a monitor that will rotate into Portrait, however what Jack suggests would suffice.
