Can this be used on a 1:1 scale of a 737NG MIP?

Hi - I have used one for my 737NG, mine looks similar from the back (mine was used in the 300/400/500 series) whilst it is not identical to the NG it does a good job and really looks the part.

Personally I would want to see the front before buying, as the ledge for the MCP was smaller on those taken from the 100/200 series aircraft, as the MCP itself was rather analogue!

The glare I have from the later series houses my opencockpits MCP perfectly. The under glare lighting was a doddle to get working and gives the perfect feel.

I am sure it will be fine but would check just to be sure, hope this helps you

Thanks for the response! I really don't think it would look right or even fit right, on a 737NG. Thanks though for responding.

Having looked on the classified section there are more photos, and whilst its a nice peice of kit the front edge is a different shape to the one I have so I don't think it will look or work well for a NG,

    Perfect for a 727 or a 732 builder tho !!

Re: Glare Shield and Under Glare Wing Panels For Sale

    Hey Everyone,

I havent had much time on the computer because of my wife's surgery and all (thank you to all the folks that sent good wishes for her); however, I had time to think about the Glareshield and under glare wing panels I'm selling.

I would be happy to trade the items for one (1) USB Simkits Gauge Kit, new in the box, plus the shipping cost of the items. The Simkit cost $127.00, so that is $73 less of what I'm asking. The only reason I ask for shipping cost, is because if someone overseas wants this, it might cost more for me...I dont know what shipping will cost until someone inquires.

Just send me a PM or post a reply...

    Thanks,

    John

Re: Glare Shield and Under Glare Wing Panels For Sale

    Hey Everyone,

I decided to lower the price of these items to $100 plus shipping. Since I removed the light fixtures, I figured it should be a little cheaper.

So, if your interested in a Glareshield that is in good shape, you can now get it cheap. And regardless of what others have said, this can be modified or left as is...

I've attached some photos with my FDS MCP unit shown (not mounted, hence the gap) to give you an idea as to how this will work. The FDS MCP unit is not for sale! Again, I dont want to confuse anyone this is a sale for the Glareshield and the Under Glare Wing panels (as shown in the classified ad) and it does not include my FDS MCP unit.

The Glareshield and Under Panels are sold; however, I still have the New FDS Glare Wing Kits for sale.
    Thank you
