Airbus does have a Patent on a standing "Seat"

I have read the Patent and Images last year

Basically you are strapped to a board with a full harness

Maybe someone with a bit more time could find the patent
    for a laugh

    Re: Standing Room Only tickets?

But when you're Mr O'Leary and receive 10% of all Ryanair profits (as agreed by the late Tony Ryan) then you do things like this!

The thing is... Ryanair is a very fun game for Mr O'Leary, he simply would of left the company if things were boring, he loves a challenge, he loves to do things differently, he loves to make money, he loves the fact that he can get away with so much. When was the last time he paid landing fee's for Stansted...? Never! He loves the publicity, he loves what he can get away with, he loves twisting things.....

You must admit Ryanair is very entertaining.....I have never known an airline to be more entertaining than Ryanair......

Ryanair are in the news all the time for its outrageous intentions....but the thing is....people actually like hearing about them......

End of the day....I think O'Leary is superb...Why?....Because he enables me to see friends and relatives far abroad for absolute peanuts...and damn cheaper than what all the other major and 'so called budget' carriers were asking for.......

LOL you're right onto it Alex.

However Tom mentioned a good fact that o'leary comes up with all these wacky ideas and so far he has achieved exactly what he intended. He wants publicity and people to disucuss them and about their airline above all others in this manner, just like we are doing now.

It is something to think about when we weigh up all the ideas put forward by O'leary (All the ones Alex mentioned and more) and then think how many have passed testing and are implemented.

Food for thought i would say... A sneaky publicity campaign?
It certainly gets the Ryanair brand out there doesn't it LOL
