Lightbulb One mouse and keyboard for multiple computers

Only one mouse and only one keyboard for multiple computers, is possibel.

I have just try out SYNERGY, which is an open source program that makes it possible to use one mouse and one keyboard for multiple computers.

It works fine, but every time I moved the mouse from FS9, and to a second computer, the FS9 paused. Now I used FS9 as the main computer for synergy. It may well be you must use one of the other computers as the main computer for a better result.

But the program can easy be used for other computers in the setup.
The program is simple to install if you follow the instructions on the website.

Here is the link to the program:http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/
    Sincerely,

    Claus

Try disable the pause on task option in settings of FS9.

    Hello.
Has anyone made Synergi work on W. Vista?
I tried a while ago, but without success.
Aware of that the speck donít mention W.Vista, but
I simply hope I made some mistakes.

Re: One mouse and keyboard for multiple computers

I do agree it is an exelent solution.
I have one that has been working perfect for quite a while.
But a KVM for more than 4 PCís is quite expensive.
So it's good that Claus brings up the matter about SYNERGY.

Re: One mouse and keyboard for multiple computers

I have KaVoom in use for a while now and I'm very happy with it. In my environment it runs without any issues under Vista and Win 7 RC (both 64bit) on 2 PC's and 7 monitors. It costs about 30EUR but being fully configurable it's worth every cent.

    Best Regards,
    Torsten
