    Re: Airbus Set On Fire

maybe time to change the name from Airbus to AirbuRNs

Not a good record for them in the past week. I am doing my itinerary for going to Lelystad for the fsweekend and one of the flights is on a 330. Its a QANTAS airbus which is the parent company for Jetstar. QANTAS have a great safety record for many years but just in the past 12 months there have been a few incidents.
And they want me to sit in one for 7 hours ... mmm second thoughts..

Didn't a small section of aircraft such as a piece of the floor/door/fuselage fall of from a Qantas flight once?

Can't remember if it was one of their airbus or jumbo fleet of aircraft.

    Re: Airbus Set On Fire

From memory it was a boeing when a service door on the front right side opened/ripped off, and there was the bus that had some problem with doing a couple of steep dives causing injury to the pax. Having a bad run lately

Alex, Don't go saying that stuff in an airport terminal at the Quantas boarding gate will you LOL They'll have more people diverting through the arrivals gate than the departures for the plane.

Out of a matter or interest i wonder if any of our members' are building a sim because they are afraid of flying to become a commercial pilot and hence go for the next best thing. Just a thought which sprung into my head.

    anyway.
