    737NG Pedestal Dims

    Hi folks,

Working on a design for 737NG Pedestal at the moment. I have dimensions of
485mm L,400mm/435mm H and 455mm W. However, on the photos I have seen, it looks as if the width reduces from top to bottom with the bottom dimension being about 50mm narrower ?

I would be grateful if anybody could confirm this.

    Thanks

    Rob

    Hi Riche,

Many thanks for the reply - I have that drawing actually, and if the 80mm radius starts from the edge of the panel, then the two 80's plus the 260 in the centre would make 420 leaving a 35mm reduction in width.

However, it looks a bit more than that to me, so I suspect that the radius does not start from the edge, but is set in a bit, but I'm not sure how much.

    Cheers,

    Rob

    Hi Riche,

Many thanks for reminding me about this site. I have seen it before, and it is an excellent reference both for quality of workmanship and documentation of the build processes.

However, the dimension I need for the width at floor level is not given here either.

I may get the opportunity to take the measurements myself at some point soon - But failing that, I guess I'll just experiment, and go with whatever looks right against the photos.

    Cheers,

    Rob
