ATTENTION ALL.... DC-7C Cockpits for sale

Ok guys listen... this is a truly "once in a lifetime" chance!

There might be a possibility that at the end of this year, I will be able to sell two (2!) complete and original DC-7C cockpits.

A friend of mine is now negociating to buy two complete aircraft and the plan is to disassemble them totally and to preserve the cockpit parts for crazy people like me and you
If you are willing to invest a lot of work (see http://conniesim.blogspot.com) or if you know someone who wants to build up a DC-7 with original parts, please let me know.

I have to admit that at the moment it is not clear if the deal will work. I also haven't seen the cockpits and I don't know in what shape thea are. As soon as I have more information, I will supply photos and everything.

This first post is only to find out if there is someone interested in such a thing.... let me know and I put you onto the list.

I'm very excited and looking forward to that trip... I hope everything works as planned ))

Ich selber besitze das Cockpit nicht, es gehört einem Freund der es in Spanien abgesägt hat...zur Zeit ist es soviel ich weiss noch dort. Das ist erst diesen Spätsommer gemacht worden.

Wenn Du ernsthaft interessiert bist, dann kann ich Dir den Kontakt vermitteln. Der Freund wohnt in Genf und spricht Französisch, Englisch und auch Deutsch... Korrespondenz hat er aber lieber in Englisch (oder Franz.)

Er hat mir mal einen Richtpreis von 10'000 Euro angegeben aber vielleicht lässt er noch ein wenig mit sich handeln.

Ich habe bisher noch keine Bilder davon gesehen aber auch das liesse sich einrichten.

Soweit ich informiert bin, ist das Cockpit komplett. Die 2 Flugzeuge sind bis vor etwa 10 Jahren noch für Löschflüge verwendet worden.
