    A320 FMGC Question

I was watching a cockpit video of an A320. Upon approach, an approach that involved radar vectors, they had a waypoint that was labelled "MANUAL" in the flight plan. Immediately after that waypoint, there was a F-PLAN DISCONTINUITY, but the distance to the airport was still being calcuated (bottom line on the FMGC). My question is this: Is the distance calculated assuming a direct leg from the MANUAL waypoint through the F-PLAN DISCONTINUITY to the first waypoint of the IAF?

    Thanks,
    Thanks,
