Rudder pedals for use w/ ACE yoke?

    Hello all,

As my NG pit is progressing, parts are finally showing up at a fairly good clip. I received my two ACE (www.737yoke.com) 737 yokes today (Capt and FO sides).

I had originally planned, for the time being, to use my current CH pedals setup in the cockpit and upgrade later, but as suspected, due to the large "footprint" of the ACE yoke, the CH pedals are forced to sit too far forward, and I can just barely reach the bottoms of the pedals with my toes.

For those of you using the ACE yokes out there, what rudder pedals are you using that will fit around the yoke base, allowing them to be in the proper position?

    Thanks for any feedback!

    Hi Chris,

You are correct about the trouble with using the CH pedals with the ace yolk - I have had to go with an 'unrealistic' setup and have the CH pedals raised on a platform that sits on top of the ace base unit so that I can still reach the pedals
Apart from installing something more like the real deal I dont think there is much else you can do...

    Cheers
    Mike

    Hi Guys,

Having CH pedals sit 1 inch from the Base shouldn't be too far? Real Pedals are even further forward.

Mike your setup is a bit more realistic to have CH pedals raised. Do you feel USB connection should have been in the front?

One improvement we made is to reduce the base cover size by almost 2 inch.

How far is your chair from the Yoke?

I am using Goflight Peddles, with the Ace Yoke, and find it quite exact when Modeled to the real position of the yoke.

Unless I am just a long legged person LOL The Goflight peddles sit more upwright like the real thing. I find the CH peddles sit to flat for my liking in comparison to the real thing.

    Best regards,

    Trev

    Hi Ali,

Sitting the CH behind the cover felt too far, especially as it then meant the yoke was so far away from the MIP.

I like the fact the USB is at the back as I run the CH & Acs USB cables straight behind the MIP out of the way...

The version of yoke I have I think is one of the early models and the base cover is a little on the large size so the newer version with the reduced size cover must be great.

    Nice product!
    Cheers
