    Question on A320 TCAS Panel

    Hi All,

On the A320 tcas panels I see a numeric keypad for entering the xponder freq. On some sim panels I see a pair dual encoders. I can see how the encoders would connect to IOcards or other interface. How would the numeric keypad interface?

    Thanks,

I think possibly with a BU0836X card (or similar) and use the FSUIPC mousetrapping technique to slave your buttons/switches to the keys on the panel. It should work - that's how I plan to do it anyway!

Thanks for the input Nigel. Another builder had asked me about it, so I started digging around and saw 2 ways of doing things, and only 1 way had an obvious answer.
