    Mycockpit.org Greetings from Boise Idaho

    Greetins everyone.

I have been around airplanes all my life. My dad had a Porterfield before I was born and then when I came along he had a Luscombe, then later a Tri Pacer and then a Cessna 182. I have more un-official hours in the Tri Pacer than any other airplane.

My dad sold the Tri Pacer to my brother when he bought his 182 and my brother still owns and flies it. My dad passed away in 1981 and sadly we had to let the 182 go. I would have bought it if I could have afforded it.

I have a Private pilots license but quit flying after the kids came along and haven't flown much since.

Consequently I became very interested in homebuilt flight simulators as MS Flight simulator got better and better.

My goal is to build a 737-800 cockpit and I am currently gathering information on software and hardware solutions that will meet my needs and that are as inexpensive as possible.

Sometimes though it seems the more I look the more solutions I find and I'm not sure which to choose. I'm hoping that this forum will help guide me in the right direction so I can find solutions that will give me the best bang for my buck.

    Thanks,
    Gary

737 parking is on the south apron, just follow the Hoover sound.

haha. Welcome to the site. People think this is just an ordinary forum, i'm sure you will learn to realise this is not the case both in builder personality, and what the site has to offer.

You might be able to share your cessna knowledge with our GA aircraft builders whilst we can provide you with any help/information you may require for the upcoming 738 build.

Keep up updated with pictures throughout your progress.

    Kind Regards
