I don't have an exact measurement but I expect it is about 46mm. This is based upon a photographs of a 767 panel found here

    http://www.simpit.de/b767dim/index.html

(specifically this one http://www.simpit.de/b767dim/pedestal/pedestal002.JPG and this one http://www.simpit.de/b767dim/pedestal/pedestal003.JPG)

and the fact that the panel should be the same on the 777.

Hope that is useful to you.

    Tom.
Thanks again Tom, very quik answer
I dont have that knob yet, so knowing that size now, i can drill hole in right place of panel. I will send pics how i made it when its ready .

The bottom of the rudder knob is 51,50mm , the top of the rudder knob is 45,50mm.

And the best place to get this knob is :

I think only Nihads knobs are backlighted, am i right?
    Anyway those are super quality.

    Geia sou Marco

Yes Nihad`s knobs are the only that are backlighted and best quality.

Also about for the rudder i use the follow rotary from MOUSER :

690-E3G0603N-2 (but it cost 42,93 Euro)

if someone has better and especialy cheaper solution please to tell us.

    Lambis,

the rotary you use, does it have 2 detents to each side, and springloaded to the center, because there are 2 speeds (low/high) to set the rudder trim.
(first detent slow, second detent fast)

    cheaper?
maybe if you build it yourself and not count the hours you're building one......
    Regards,

    Henk.

Henk my rotary has only one detent in each side.
And it is springloaded to center.

I can`t find with 2 positions in each side.
