    I think 10" and 10.4" are the same monitors. Panel manufacturers work with standard sizes and 10.4" is one of those sizes. In general, people call that a 10" monitor. I don't believe 10" actually exists as a panel size.

    Here's the excel file which I made to decide what monitor would fit.

    Ok, according to the vendor, the dimensions to the viewable area of the LCD are: 6.2" tall by 8.4" wide

    I guess this LCD would be too short in height for it to be used properly as an EICAS display?

    I don't know about the room you have in the Cockpitsonic MIP. The exact size of the bare Acer panel is 431x254mm.

    Thank you for the info. I am planning to go with the flyengravity desktop series and will now look out for an 18.5" LCD.
