Generic pit update
Hi Guys,
Been a while since I posted but work has continued on the Generic Jet pit... Here are a few pics... Adding the GoFlight modules added so much to the "feel" and realism I wish I had done it much earlier..
Anyway.. here it is in all its glory... And yes I still use the B737SS "start stick" as noted in my last post.. have yet to relocate the PC..
After pushback... KATL
Off we go... with taxi clearance
Thanks for all the tips and great posts... they benefit even us "low budget" builders...

Very cool generic pit Jeff. I'm curious how many different aircraft do you normally fly? I've been working on a generic twin turboprop pit and currently have 3 different sets of panels for 3 different aircraft. I'm finding that the more functional the pit becomes the less I think about what aircraft I'm flying.

Thanks Shawn...
I find myself flying only two planes now, each with a custom panel, neither panel "accurate" or scale for that matter... Mainly the Posky 757 or PMDG 737
But all the "stuff" is there and I am very comfortable with the 757 as I have many flights in it.. Right now just getting used to the MCP, which by the way is really neat.. and the depth perception of the projector.
The view you see here about 8 feet in front of the sim so the camera doesn't focus on it but it is really nice and clear from the seats.
Now to start pigeon holing money for a nice radio stack... Took 8 months to save enough from pocket change for the MCP... maybe only 6 this time out as my wife increased my allowance.. LOL
Thanks again!
Jeff

Nice setup there. That's great for flying a variety of aircraft. Makes me want to build a generic.

Very nice pit!
It seems you got a full setup and it must be very nice to fly it.
I wonder why the generic pit builder family isn't larger. I started building a Learjet 45 pit but as the project developed I ended up with a generic modern pit that has bombardier/embraer feel to it and it serves well as a Learjet 45 flightdeck even though it's not an replica.
Good work man!
