    FSUIPC Offsets

    Hi,

I have found a couple of offsets in these forums for the spoiler, they are:

    OBCC
    OBDO

What I don't know is which Offset feature in FSUIPC to use. Can anyone help me with this?

    Many Thanks

    Rob

Depends on what are you going to to, OBCC is the Offset to arm or disarm the auto deployment (0 off, 1 arm), 0BD0 is the lever position (0 off, 4800 arm, 5620 to 16383 spoiler setting), you can find those information in a pdf which is delivered together with the FSUIPC SDK.

I really don't know anything about using offsets and to be honest, the info contained in peters files is mostly double dutch to me. What I'm looking to do is arm and disarm the spoilers in PMDG by using a switch as opposed to the mouse, and I found the two offsets elsewhere in the forum. What I don't know or understand is how to use these offsets or what specific offset feature I should be using in the FSUIPC drop down menu under offsets. It would help if someone could tell me how to do this.

    Many Thanks

    Rob

Well in the PMDG 737 I think it is not possible to arm the spoilers with offsets, as they are using a special way to deploy the spoilers after touchdown, but somebody might now better than me.

Regarding using the offsets, if we look at the OBCC, you should normally be able to use the predefined functions for arming the spoilers, but if you want to use the offsets itself, just select "Set value" (I think it is named like this) and use a value of 0 or 1 to arm or disarm the spoilers. Does this make things clearer? If not I can post a screenshot, or just ask, what you want to know.

    Mounty,

There is just the thing for you....

    http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/show...fsuipc+dummies

Its a thread called fsuipc for dummies, and I was a real dummy, I am sure if you read it it will help you to program the functions you want.

For PMDG 737, try this :

    626E SPOILER ARM 16 1= RELEASE 257 = ARM

Thanks for this tip, never heard that it is possible to arm the spoilers by hardware, as PMDG is not publishing any offsets I think.
