    The White Glove Treatment

    Would anyone looking at this thread have a look at this video please?

    Ive never been to Japan but I believe its the japanese culture. Apparently taxi drivers and train drivers wear white gloves as well.

    That's strange.

    I'll ask my daughter-in-law next time she's in the US. She's Okinawan.

    Dude! Forget about the gloves what is with disconnecting the Auto Thrust before the landing and the totally crappy landing man... LOL!! Sorry just an apreciation...

    I was told by my neighbor who is a pilot , it was to keep "body oils" from marring the knobs and paint on all the panels and switches. He said the flightdeck of a 6 year old 767 looked brand new due to this policy which varies by airline and cultural in some places. He said that there are no smudges on any radio heads. He flies 747's frieghters to the orient
