Hi guys,

I have decided to sell my Boeing 737-800 project, which is located in Georgia, USA. I would like to first try and sell the project as a whole before resorting to parting it out. I put together a quick website which details everything included, as well as a ton of photos. I am not selling because of the economy or anything like that, I simply don't have the time to put into this particular project any longer. I may start a smaller GA project in the future.

It's alucky guy that gets to buy your sim mate, if I lived anywhere in the states I'd be on my way with a van and a wallet full of cash with your name on it.

If for some reason it doesnt sell I will happily buy some bits and bobs for definite.

Yes, the current price is a bargain --- but the catch is the buyer would need to come and pick it up at their expense. I don't even want to think about crating this thing at this point. I would obviously assist in tearing it down, and help load it into a truck, etc....

Also, there is still a good amount of work to be done-- window installs, interfacing, control column linkage, overhead, throttle conversion, etc...

It's real worth is in the sum of all the parts. A GREAT start for a new builder.

and as david said, if you dont get to sell it as a whole, i also would be willing to
offer for parts. but hopefully you get to sell it complete.
parting out something of this magnitude would be painful to say the least.

Thanks to all who have contacted me regarding this project. I want to reiterate that the computers and software are NOT included with the purchase. Also, please read through the text on my website, don't just look at the photos

It is not a turn key, fully functional simulator--- still lots more to do. A method for installing the slide windows needs to be brainstormed, as well as control columns. The overhead needs electronics and interfacing, as does the pedestal. Also need to brainstorm rudder pedal design, and throttle conversion. As with everything in this hobby, there is usually no official way to assemble and install items, it requires the ingenuity and skills of the builder. That said I am sure you have what it takes to complete this project.

It is a great collection of parts and a real value for anyone who wants to buy it as a whole.

In summary, it would be nice for the buyer (whoever this may be) to come down to my location so I could go through everything. It would also be helpful to any buyer if we disassemble the project together.

Have you tried contacting any local high schools or university? Seems that more and more schools have an FS club nowdays.

Nice and honorable thought Mike but in this economy where a 150 year old newspaper just closed its doors today and 3 more did last week and these are huge Newspapers, laying off everyone and companies closing up everyday, a sim is definitely a luxury item compared to making the mortgage and feeding the kids. So unfortunately nowadays Never is a word thats not guaranteed. But knowing your passion for that 727 lol everyone will be eating Macaroni and cheese dinners before it goes out for sale LOL
