Hello - GPSOut and Lowrance 2000c

    Hello All,

I've been lurking for a while now - great forum really gets the imagination going. I've been flying with go flight products and have been thinking about a building. Anyway, anybody out there use GPSout with a Lowrance 1000c? If so, I'm looking for info in how to plug in the GPS to my PC. It seems Garmin sells a PC to GPS cord but Lowrance does not.

    Thanks guys

I use the Lowrance Airmap 500 with GPSOut and it works great. I had to purchase a separate serial data cable from the Lowrance web-store to make it work in simulation mode. http://www.lei-extras.com/store/cart.asp
There may be one available for your GPS as well.

Thanks for the link - unfortunately no PC data cord for my unit listed. I did send LEI an inquiry message. I'll post if I have any luck in case anybody else out there is interested.

    Thanks
