Hello all. Basically I'm typing this post to get rid of the nag screen at the top of this forum. No, joking.

I'm from the Netherlands (hence my nick, if you've seen the movie), I'm in my 40's and I'm starting to build my 737 cockpit, well, today. I just put an old dinner table in my home office where I'm going to install 2 computers. This weekend I hope some hardware will arrive like 2 monitors that I'm going to use for the glass displays. I already have a projector and a screen. I'm using PMDG 737 and I might need some help with that. Next week they expect the new Engravity MIP panels in at the aviation hobby shop and I'll buy a captains- and fo-side and a center side. These include the glare wing. Furthermore, an MCP, FMC and 2 EFIS modules.

My first flight was with FS 1.0 or so, around 1986/1987.

Simply because there's the most replica hardware available. Especially now the prices are dropping.
