FOR SALE: Full extensive CAD drawings of the 737

Hi, because of my line of work i am able to have access to the printing of CAD files. From a post that was submitted on Mycockpit.org many months ago i have managed to print this off.

Terrific drawing, full sized A1 prints. Detailing all panels, and where everything should go right down the last led. This would be ideal as plans to work from, or to keep etc etc in a tangible form.

To have Cad Files professionaly printed it costs a substantial amount of money as some may know.

I printed one for myself at my workplace and a spare copy which i was planning to cut up for templates but this is no longer needed as i can take measurements from my own print.

So for sale is a copy of the printed product totaling 5 A1 sheets.

As shown in the photo's i have got the print to be almost exactly 1:1 although the scale factor may prove to be out by a few millimetres.
If you need the full measurements to make sure it ties in with your setup let me know via PM and i'll take extensive measurements so you can compare. I can't guarantee it's accuracy with your individual setups if you're using it to make some parts to fit in with existing.

Otherwise i've got it as close as i can.
The MIP covers 2 A1 sheets, as does the overhead. The pedestal is on one sheet.

£10 (Bargain for the majority who havn't paid thousands of pounds to get access to Autocad, and don't have an A1 printer lying around LOL)

I'll post them out in an board backed envelope for protection ... PM me if you're interested, and i'll work out the postage cost to your area as people are located all over the world.

    Kind regards......

I posted a pdf of this same cad drawing in download section at 1:1 scale.
    http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/down...do=file&id=188
That way people can also print off any section using a regular printer.

I am not taking away what you are offering - that is a good deal for full size prints. I have a plotter at work too and the full scale printouts are great! What I did was make my own paper size so I could get the entire length required for the overhead and MIP (Our plotter uses rolls of paper - so I can plot up to 150 feet long!)

150 feet long ... you could plot a flightpath on that

And i was unaware of the PDF but the unique part is that as you say it's printed @ A1 and therefore is a good scale replica. I think cramming all that onto an A4 would just squash everything to being unreadable, and wouldn't help realy at all. Unless of course you stuck together a couple of dozen a4 sheets with celotape to make the A1 size.

Defintiely good to have the availability of CAD plots in 1:1. Those that haven't looked around, getting custom prints and poster printing is expensive to have done. It's good to see someone offering this. While the PDF might be readily available, getting it printed out is another matter.

My intent with the 1:1 pdf was that people to could select certain sections/panels and plot them at 1:1 scale using letter or legal paper on their printers. You would just select an area or zoom-in and print using NO page scaling and "current view" and it will print out at 1:1 scale. It wasn't intended to be plotted out as one page.

I don't know what is costs elsewhere, but I am in the construction industry and here in Canada printing companies only charge about $5-8 per page wide media prints on bright bond paper (black and white).

We have a HP Designjet 130 here at work and the machine only cost $1000 - and it does color. The paper is $25 per roll (150 foot roll).

I have access to an HP Designjet 750C, but buyng quality paper and the ink is expensive for it. Something like a 750C can be had on ebay for around $500 shipped, but it's not worth it if you're only going to use it for one project.

Yeah ours is a HP one too. And blimey your lucky $5-8 the paper cost is double that here in the UK.

As has been mentioned getting this sized prints can't be done unless you pay big money for them to be done professionally. Which i know is over 6 times what i'm asking for the lot here!

Just thought if someone's interested ...

That's it folks. The drawings have been sold to "Mr. Roper" a member of our forum yesterday.

*If anyone was interested in getting the drawings, and sat there umming and arring - i'll probably be able to print off another set if you sent me a PM.*

I would be able to print any drawings. For example if you just wanted the MIP, or overhead or pedestal on it's own. That could be arranged at a reduced cost. Again PM me for details if anyones interested.

As i said, doubt you'll find a better deal on this one.

    Anymore for anymore?

Feedback from buyers of the drawings so far has been excellent.
Perhaps a couple might delve in here, and put in a good word
