Retrieving US Air Flight 1549
Not mine, sent to me in an email. Certainly gives you the scope of getting one out of the water. Notice the date/time on the shots.

what an accomplished pilot.
i was looking at these pictures and i was amazed at how little actual damage there is to the aircraft. you have to consider that they were loaded with fuel for the trip and with no time to 'dump' anything, this pilot executed a perfect landing on water.
he's approaching at 160mph+ because he can't afford a stall in this situation.
and then to put this aircraft down even and straight with no 'break up' saving all those people - i'm lost for words.
what an extremely skilled pilot and commander.
well done captain......Mr. Ian. P. Sissons is hereby recognised as an Honorary Flight Sim Captain following his passing in February 2016. This is in recognition for his commitment to Flight Simulation.

Thanks for the pics Rodney....
Seems the pics or any thing about the crash have dissipated into almost nothing or just plain hard to find.
Thanks,
Matt Olieman
