    Flight Delay

'ladies and gentlemen etihad airways regret to announce that due a technical fault with the aircraft, Flight 1544 will suffer a delay.
engineers inform us that a repair may take some time, so the flight has now been rescheduled for August 15th 2012. thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience'.

apparently on a full 4 engine run up test, somebody pulled the breaker on the ground sensor to stop the warning horns and the aircraft thought it was being instructed to take off....... oops!

sorry guys having probs uploading images, so here's the link

Perhaps they were running through the test checklist, after engine startup:

    Engines?
    Check and running.

    Parking brake?
    .. errm..
    oh Dam! (Pun intended)
