    They look good to me.

Can the machine cut the same thickness in aluminum instead of plastic?

It would be much sturdier in aluminum if possible.

Yes, I can cut light aluminum, prob up to 1/4" with coolant and the right feed rate. I tell ya, these hardboard prototypes are so nice I am very tempted to finish then out and see how they work! Once they are bolted together they are very strong. Once filled, sanded, primed and painted they might work fine! If not the ABS should be strong enough, and the handles don't have to be painted or finished since it is black and has a very nice texture. The test peices I have cut and fitted with stainless hardware look great.

    Brian,
I can't thank you enough for that link! I had seen this page about a year ago and couldn't find it again for the life of me! These photos confirm for me that I am within acceptable dimensions for my throttle levers. I can forge ahead now with confidence that I wont have to make anything twice due to incorrect dimensions. Of course you have ruined the forums now, since I will be asking lot's of questions now! Thanks again!

yes, thanks ozy, a daunting task.Your TQs are a work of art! I will place all of my drawings, cad/cam files, and photos here for the the entire flight sim community to have as examples along with yours, hopefully anyone building their own tq will find them helpful.

I can show you what I am doing, not nearly as awesome as the work some of these guys are doing, but it will work (I think).

Re: Still Looking for A320 Throttle Drawings

Also looking for A320 throttle dimensions/ drawings.

I am new to the forum and from reading the threads I can see that others have been looking for A320 throttle drawings.

I am looking to source exact dimensions of the A320 TQ, so that I can build a scale model of the moving throttles. I will use the model to design a prosthetic hand that I can use to gain my type rating.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

    Cheers
