    Question Simkits guages/components wanted

    Hi All,

I'm looking to build myself a Cessna 172/GA pit, so if anyone has any Simkits guages/cabinets/components for sale i'd be very interested.

I actually have 7 guages, flaps lever and gear switch I'm thinking about letting go.

They all need a little bit of work but they are serviceable.

    VOR1
    VSI
    DG
    Turn Coord
    3 engine instruments

Make a fair offer and you pay shipping.

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for the reply. Are they the USB type or the older CCU type? What do you mean by DG? Do you have any of the surplus faceplates? When you say 'serviceable' - can you elaborate? Any photos?

Sorry for all of the questions!

I am building a 172/GA pit as well. Do you have a website and/or pictures? I just got started so am interested in what other GA pit builders are doing. Good luck!

Andy> Some further info would be great if that's ok?

wriley> I don't have any pictures or a website at the moment as I'm too at the very beginning. I'm starting with the guages/panels and working my way up from there. There are some nice pictures on the Simkits page that should whet your appetite:

I have faceplates, I just have to dig them out of where I packed them.
These are the CCU units, not USB.

By servicable I mean that they work, but they need some minor repairs. My grandaughter likes to fly my sim when I'm not around and is a bit brutal on the instruments.

The DG needs work and the TC also. Everything else is fine I think.

I am NOT selling the CCU, I still need it.
The ones that are X'ed are not for sale.

I'm tempted to sell all of them including the CCU. I only need 3 guages for my new setup. I'm building a glass panel, G1000.
So, make an offer on all of it if you like, I'll consider any reasonable offer.
I also have an extra Attitude guage that is unassembled.
