    MCDU / FMC how to...

    Hello to all,

I would like to do my own FMC. But not only a device where i push buttons and the flight simulator is calculating and updating the FMC screen.
I would like to do a FMC where i enter datas and the device will calculate by itself the values.
Where can i find the "equations" and some algorithms ?
I can imagine that this homemade FMC will be dedicated to a specific airplane. ok, not a problem. I can choose one ( a320, 737, ...)

I have seen that it now exists "commercial" FMC for cockpit builders but the price is " a little bit" too much for me ( around 900 euros ) !

    Thanks in advance

Have a look at the FREE VasFMC project. Website: http://vas-project.org/.

It is open source with the source code also available. (Qt C++). It uses the AIRAC data, so up to date FMS data is available for it.
