    Panel started

I finally got around to starting on my panel. It is based on a Cessna 172.

Good stuff William. Are you intending to use real gauges or LCD screens behind the panel. And it looks like you're intending to incorporate a real radio stack? As Bob said, keep us posted, it's nice to see some more GA craft coming up.

I might use an LCD behind the cutouts until I can get some gauges built but I plan to build my own gauges and avionics. Micro controllers and electronics is another hobby of mine. So many ideas, so little time.

Cograts, panel looks a lot better than mine (jealous now ) I know what you mean though on the hole saw. Took me ages to find an 80mm one, wont say how much it cost in the specialist tool shop while the wife was off shopping elsewhere...

You mean you actually let your wife go shopping by herself? With real money?

I can now sit at my panel. With my CH rudder pedals and yoke my lovely wife got me for Christmas I can fly in style. =)

Now I really must get some electronics wired up to run those switches!
