    inhibiting GPWS sounds

    If you have "silent" computers available in your network, an easy way to have the three guarded switches working (bottom of FO panel) is to load PMSound on those computers and to assign Flap, Gear or Terrain PMSound wave files to them... then have the guarded switch turn off/on its speaker(s) .
