    737 Throttle Quadrant ... acrylic gears ?

    Hi all i wonder if anyone knows where i could get some acrylic/plastic gears for my 737 cockpitsonic throttle quad as some teeth have sheared off. Its the large ones 75mm that drive the trims wheels. im sure i have seen them on a site before but i cant find then ... any ideas??

    Wow man. How you broke those?

    Check with Scott Hendry. He's a member here at MCP and he can make gears to custom size. If he has the time I would guess, I'm not going to speak for him, you'll have to check with him.

    And he can use a stronger material, like delrin or something.

    that's a symulatory TQ.......same as mine.
    you can try the manufacturer at biuro@symulatory.com but as i am sure you know, they are not the best at answering e-mails. but it's worth a shot. or even why not try FSC, if they are selling the product, they should have access to service parts.

    I wouldn't recommend acrylic either. That why they were broken in the first place. As Andy said, Delrin would be an excellent choice.
