A couple of minor additions to the 727

I finally bought a Grimes cockpit light at the right price. Works great and changes from red to white. It's dimmable and has a momentary button on the rheostat knob.

Laid carpeting in the cockpit too. Just some cheap indoor/outdoor stuff. It's the sort of carpet you'd cover speaker boxes with. Looks a lot better than bare floor or even painted wood.

    Hi Michael..

Cool idea on the carpet... where did you find it? Was it at a carpet store or hardware place? That is what I would like to use.. Any advice on where to find it would be appreciated.

Yes, they're self-feeding equipment rack rollers. I'm thinking of replacing them with one with metal wheels. You can find them in McMaster-Carr's catalog.

You can get that carpeting nearly anywhere that sells auto stereo equipment or auto parts.

    I wish I hadn't shook the phone!

One thing I noticed about the iPhone is that even though the resolution is better than my old Razer, the shutter speed is slower. You almost need a tripod to take pictures with this thing.

    Thanks!
