    My Feet are Happy Again!

I work on a concrete floor eight to twelve hours a day and my old cheap shoes were not cutting it any longer. I used to have a nice pair of Magnum duty boots when I was a part-timer with the sheriff's department, but they didn't fit well with warm socks. A little on the narrow side, but very sturdy.

I finally bit the bullet and plunked down the cash for what is to me the most comfortable boot or shoe I've ever worn.

The Adidas GSG9-2. I never heard of these until I did a work boot search on Google. Then I found out the only place to buy them was directly from Adidas. I wonder what the big secret is and why you can't get these all over?

Anyway, this has the most comfortable insole I've ever had the pleasure of walking on. The side support is excellent especially since I broke my left ankle years ago and it still bothers me some when the WX changes.

They are waterproof, but they still breathe and are warm, and as quiet as a running shoe. They look a little like a running shoe on the bottom half, but the leather is much thicker and sturdier. The best part is that they feel like they are already broke-in and I've been wearing them for weeks already.

If any of you are on your feet all day like I am I highly recommend these boots. You feet will love you again. They lived up to all the hype I read on review sites and are worth every penny.

    Gsg-9

    Hello Michael,

the secret might be, that "GSG 9" (for GrenzSchutzGruppe 9) is the german anti-terror squad of the Bundespolizei (federal police). Sure they use optimum shoes! GSG 9 freed all hostages of a Lufthansa 737-200 in the 70ies when kidnapped to Somalia by terrorists. (Adidas, of course, as you will know, is a german company, founded by Adi Dassler.)

    Cheers Chris

I found out all about the GSG9 using these during my searches for information on these boots.

I did not however, know that Adidas was German shoe company. I was quite surprised to find that out. I've never owned an Adidas product, but I'm sure this won't be the last.

If they build their shoes how they build their weapons, I know I have an outstanding product that will last years.

Better order a half size up. My normal size is 9-1/2 but they were out so I ordered a 10. The fit is perfect. I'm glad they were out of my regular size.

The Germans make the best firearms on the planet. Not Adidas.

I work in a power plant, vibrating concrete and steel all day, do they have a safety toe? Steel or composite?
