Question Instrument panel knobs to adjust ALT, VOR, AFD, etc

    Hi all
I have been looking for all sorts of ideas when it comes to building my instrument panel.

I figure by far the cheapest way is to use a LCD screen and place a face plate over the top with the holes cut out where the instruments are.
I was wondering if there is an easy way to place some sort of knob on the face plate where the instrument is so I can adjust ALT, VOR, AFD, etc

    Cheers

    Rhys

Yes you can. You need a very shallow encoder to do it. Look at Claudios work.

This is a very nice panel.

    Thanks AndyT
Claudios panel looks fantastic, is there any info on what he is using to connect the encoders too and the type of monitors he is using

    Thanks

I'm not sure. Maybe he will chime in here with more info.
