    HI,
I'd like to know if there is a way to start my 2 engines separately with a keystroke ?
I use flightillusion GSA10 interface and 2 push button to start and 2 other to stop.

Has to be checked because I'm talking from memory..correct me if wrong.

You need two switches per engine.
    One is the strarter
One for opening/igniting the fuel and shutting it off

The strater has to be either a momentary pushbutton or momentary toggle
The fuel switch can be a latching toggle (off-on locked) or a regular toggle on-off with a switch guard.

    Procedure:
You engage the starter and keep it on until you reach a certain spooling speed (20-22-N2 on a jet)
Then you switch on (and lock) the fuel
As soon as the turbine comes to life (EGT up N1 up) you release the starter to off.

    Repeat for engine 2

For shutdown just Unlock the fuel switch and set it to off for each engine.
As far as I remember, you can assign any key to that in FSUIPC
    Engine starter1 Engine starter2
Mixture full rich1 Mixture full rich2 when on and Idle cut off for shutdown..or something like that. (Check the scroll down assignments in FSUIPC and test try)
If I get to my sim soon I will post back
    Cheers.

That's the correct assignment for fuel in FSUIPC.

    I checked it.

In FSUIPC you can assign the following commands (in the scroll down menu) to a keyboard key or to switches/buttons.

    This is for engine 1:

"Starter 1 set" triggers the starter, has to be kept ON until fuel is applied, released after

"Mixture1 rich" opens the fuel . Has to stay on the ON position(or pressed for a key) to keep the engine running

"Mixture1 lean" cuts the fuel, and shuts the engine down.OFF position for a switch (release for a key)
    Duplicate for Engine 2

Really takes 2 minutes to program with FSUIPC
