    Hello from New Zealand

Hello everyone and greetings from New Zealand

Just joined up and look forward to getting some much needed advice on my helicopter simulator. Looking a building a MD500E sim, already have full set of actual MD500 pilots and co-pilots cyclic, collectives and pedals. Have got hold of an old Hughes 300 cockpit which I will use to fabricate the shape of the 500e around.

Looking forward to getting some much need advice from the experts

    Rhys

    Thanks guys
Here is some of the progress, the last photo is a very, very crude mockup and nothing like what the sim will look like when its finished I hope.

    Thanks Gwyn
Looking at the excellent simpits here, I'm in the right place.

I plan to use a LCD monitor for the instruments, and build the panel around that and put a face plate over the top. I was also looking at using a touch screen kit so I can adjust ALT, VOR, AFD, etc

    Cheers
    Rhys
