Motion Platfrom Help

I want to get started making a motion platform. I would like to use dc Liner actuators and the boards and software that Jim uses. But have no Idea about the controll of the actuators I have not read about any one using them. I plan on using 3 actuators in a tri-angle type set up this would give me roll and pitch had heave but. The questions are how to controll them and the speeds are they fast enough or too fast. Does any one have any ideas? Thanks again.
