    A/T - Latching Switch

    Hi all,

I want to add a latching A/T switch to my MCP.

Does anyone know of a source for such a switch, can't seem to find one anywhere.

    Regards,

    A/T Solenoid Toggle Switch

    Thanks for the reference Jackpilot,

I've had a look but can't seem to find one. I'll email them.

What I'm after is a solenoid held toggle switch for the A/T function of the MCP. My original post saying latching switch wasn't a good description.

    Regards and thanks,

    Here you go: http://www.bpbsurplus.com/lc/cart.ph...ategory_id=325

Good people to deal with and fast shipping. They are out of stock at the moment. I would write and see if they anticipate receiving any.

These were commonly use in the SP-50 Autopilot, all series. Probably a hundred other applications as well.

Here is the .pdf from Honeywell on these switches. You might be able to find a distributor or retail source.

Powell Electronics is one supplier of this series: http://www.powell.com/prod_search.php?KeyWord=26ET61-T

These are pretty expensive switches at $532 each, but they are what you're looking for. I'd keep checking surplus sites and e-Bay.

Here is an e-Bay auction at $70 right now for this series with five available: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Aircr...mZ350011957410

Here is another seller with several of these at auction right now: http://stores.ebay.it/Art-in-Part_Av...QQftidZ2QQtZkm Higher than the first auction though in US dollars.

    That should get you started.
