    The iPhone is phenominal

I had no idea that this phone can do all it is capable of.

A 30 second spot on TV doesn't even hint at what this thing can do.

I bought this a few hours ago and synch'ed everything from one of my computers. E-mail addresses, all of my bookmarks, my iTunes library, even the time format transfered over.

The speakers aren't bad either. Not exactly JBL, but very listenable.

There are aviation applications available. SOme free, some at a niminal cost. All of them include aviation weather forcasts, TAF's, etc. Many have a database of sectional IFR and VFR charts avilable as well as procedures.

I haven't explored all of them yet, but I'll be getting one or the other of them.

    This phone is truly amazing.

I have a Palm Centro and have pretty much the same options. The speaker is not very loud, but has good sound.

I have a Palm Treo 650 that I tried to upgrade to the Treo 750 but never could get used to WM and ended up giving it back. Considering getting a newer model soon.

I wanted the Treo 755 but it had just been disco'ed the week before I upgraded. So I wound up with the Centro. Not quite what I wanted but I'm getting used to the small keyboard.

Yeah I might think of the 755 as well since its Palm OS. Depends where I find myself situated in the near future.

I have the original 4GB iphone. Been using it since they were initially released. It's pretty much a computer in your phone. Things will only get better with improvements to the OS. I used to use a MS smartphone, but prefer the iphone at the moment. Just imagine how phones will be in 3-4 years from now. My bet is they'll turn into thin client pcs by then running the real computer operating systems like MacOS X and Windows 7 by then. Just dock it up and use it as a regular computer. I'm also interested in the new SOC offerings. The nVidia Tegra series might make for some cool new phones soon.

Yep, it sure is like having a computer in your hand. The internet looks just how it's supposed to.

Still can't get my head around all of what this can do.

    Yup,
I got the I Phone as well 4 GB and the sweet thing is I paid only $62.00 for it because I got it with my Fido minutes bonus offer. This thing is definitely the bomb. It definitely does alot of stuff for sure.
