    Ah, thanks for the clarification. I thought they'd simply be shielded to prevent any back-effect.

    In FS, of course, they are all operational at the same time, and the one you receive, if any, depends on your position relative to the runway centre.

    Thanks to all of you for your help.
    I think the problem was due to the fact that I was tuning the ils to soon, when my aircraft was still positioned "on the other side of the rwy" making the Ils tuning the unwanted transmiter/frequency and as such when getting to the final approach (the opposite rwy) the plane was following the back course of the wrong Ils transmiter (and not changing to the good Ils transmiter, by the only highly directional characteristic of the transmiter).
