    2 Bit Gray Encoder Question

If a 2 Bit Gray Encoder has 24 detents and the Cycles/Rev is 6 is this the same as saying it has 1/4 cycle per detent?

    Thanks,

    Darren Sugden

    Hi Darren,

Yes, that would be a 1/4 wave per detent encoder.
