Learjet 45 Radio Control Head Program Completed

To keep the costs down I am using FreeFD and P8R's Alpha FMC software for my glass cockpit. This left me with the problem of having no Radio Control Head display so I have had a go at writing my own.

If anyone would like to have a play around with it then you can download it from my site http://www.learjet45chimera.co.uk See the news page for 29th September for details.

At the moment it takes its input from the PC keyboard but will eventually work with the K8055 interfaces I am using.

I am planning to write a tutorial on how to program a simple instrument display program and will be releasing the source code then if anyone wants to modify it for their own needs.

    Cheers

Thanks for sharing the XMapsy discovery. I have a Dell Axim Pocket PC that I don't really use anymore. Going to give it a try.

What Font are you using for the radio's frequency display?
