Help with FSUIPC values
I'm using FS2Phidget and trying to get my start switch working. Offset 0892 appears to be the one for engine 1 and I'm seeing a difference depending on whether it's prop or jet. Jet has 3 values; 0=off, 1=start and 2=gen. However I'm not sure how I set this up in FS2Phidget, and the variable that FS2Phidget is referencing is something quite different and also doesn't seem to do anything. It's pretty easy setting up a joystick button in FS, but haven't managed to get this working. The FSUIPC variable is 2 bytes so I'm starting to wonder where to start with this. Some of the variables are listed with bit settings but not this one. If you managed to get your start buttons working with FSUIPC variables, please help.
Jet fighter / single pilot sim, plus thinking of a 777 as a secondary sim.

I agree when working with fsuipc and the offsets and variables, things become complex. I have tried myself and it will require quite a bit of practice. The manual does explain how to do it, but I through my hands up in the air after hours of trial and error.
One of the things to note is that each switch position must have its own input. I would be sure that fs2phidgets would have it built in the pull down menu's.
Are you running PmSystems? if you are, you would not need Fs2phidgets, everything would be automatic. Is this the case?________________________

Try the below
[Engine 1 Starter]WriteOnly=False
[Engine 2 Starter]WriteOnly=False
