Thanks for the software Tim. It's as good or better than Frankfurt. Unbelievably realistic looking on approach to 27L. I can only imagine what this would look like on a projector system.

I had a shot of the approach, but I lost it somewhere between the FS computer and this one. I may have forgotten to save it I was so awed by the photo.

It ran at 24FPS except during turns on the ground. It dropped to 20-21FPS.

I can't wait until they come out with more airports.

Yeah the aerosoft scenery of heathrow is excellent and extremely realistic and comparing it to real life it is very good. Only thing in my opinion is many of the important buildings on the approaches and around the perimeter fence of the airport have been left out. A downfall of many airport sceneries. so it does make the airport appear in the middle of no-where.

I only wish that they had continued with the photo textures on the approach a bit further by adding the buildings over the top

    oh well jmo

I'm not certain of what buildings are supposed to be where, but I'm using UT Europe and the scenery looks fine. Though not being intimately familiar with the area.

While on short final I was thinking of that BA777 from earlier this year. I saw right where it came down and the link and taxiway most of it stopped on.

I thought, WOW, this looks just like the photos I saw.

I wish there was some way to capture photos and not have the image degrade when turned into a .jpg file. The original looked much better.

This scenery will be great along with GA1 for trips from London to Munich.

I also like having all of the charts in a booklet. They are larger than the original Jepp charts, but a lot smaller than a standard sheet of paper. They fit on the window sill clipboard perfectly and are easy to read.

Someone could make a small fortune by producing booklets like this of major airports around the world. No more fumbling through a three inch thick Jepp binder, or worse, opening a full size binder to get 8.5"x11" charts.
