    Stef - on each end we tried 2 bolts through the collar at the bottom of the column - set at 90 degrees to each other. But such is the shape and size of the collar that its vey difficult to get a connecting tube to fit snugly and for the bolts to hold it so there is no free-play when the whole thing is moved. Needs a mechanical engineer me thinks!

    i will make sure not to rush things here. Maybe i will try to source the original interconnecting parts.

    Boys and girls,

    Has anyone tried to make thread in the bottum of the collumn so you can just screw the crossover linkage into place? (just a quick thought)
