Question for experts regarding OC MCP

    Dear Friends,

I seem to notice a interesting problem. Since my MCP is quite new this might have already been discussed but nevertheless I wanted to ask.

Once in the air whenever I make fast movements with the altitude stting or heading setting switches simulator fails to read the encoder accurately resulting different values on the MCP versus the cockpit MCP.

    Any ideas?

    Best Regards,
    barkay

sorry, but I know nothing of the pmdg 737.

I can only be of help for the Level-D 767. That one works perfectly with the OC MCP (both ways, always sync), with my lekseecon program.

Well, I'm hardly an expert but...

The OC display isn't synced with the encoder, it's synced with the FS readout. So, there's clearly something going wrong between FS and SION on the output side of things. Perhaps you could call the variable more often like using a timer?

Re: Question for experts regarding OC MCP

I noticed this behavior only in LNAV and VNAV mode. Switching of and on of these modes usually solves it. Also the IAS readout of the MCP sometimes shows 650 knots. Toggle VNAV and it skows the right speed
